Gearing Up

So after the epic ride ended this past summer Life got the better of me and my fellow cyclists.  We were welcomed with over whelming support from our family and friends.  In the midst of trying to follow up with people in our community and getting back to school, this humble blog was abandoned which I apologize for.  However, as winter passes quickly (as in it wasn't ever here) my bike gears are screaming to be lubed up and I yearn for another opportunity to ride around on two wheels fueled by my own body fat.

If you will have this sojourner type journalist, I invite all you readers to follow me yet again through the world of cycling and towards a mission of spreading the love of Christ and working towards ending poverty housing in this great country.  I promise to keep it interesting and maybe even inspire you to want to join me.

This summer the FCBA (Fuller Center Bike Adventure) will be riding down both the East and West Coast to spread awareness of the organization and of course help out different projects along the way.  My own personal plan is to join them to ride down the West Coast for four weeks from Seattle, WA to San Diego, CA and will cover over 1,650 miles.  Again I am being asked to raise $3,000 dollars, 100% of which goes towards the organization to directly help those in poor living conditions.  The Fuller Center for Housing is a grass roots Christian organization that is interested giving people a hand up rather than a hand out.  If you have questions, I would be more than willing to answer them.  For more information I invite you to visit http://fullercenter.org/bikeadventure.

More blog posts and stories to follow.  If you haven't already liked up on facebook the bar on the right should direct you there.

God Bless!
